MARGARET VAUGHN CONSULTING

Biography

After working for the House Minority Leader and Senate President, Margaret Vaughn started her own government consulting firm in 1993. She has established a tremendous rapport with legislators and their aides of both parties and has a reputation among lawmakers as being one of the most effective lobbyists at the Capitol, having worked for the successful passage of over 100 laws.

She has been a keynote speaker at numerous national conferences discussing how her legislative accomplishments in Illinois may be achieved in other states.

Margaret also serves as the Executive Director of the Illinois Rural Health Association.  Her firm provides association management, public relations and conference planning services to these organizations.
